Baby Hungry

Image
It's no secret that I'm super baby hungry.  I practically tell everyone I come across.  I keep telling Dustin that I want a baby and dropping all sorts of hints here and there.  Big however, I'm so not ready for another kid.  We'll see just how long I can hold out.  Just yesterday we were out to dinner and Baylee tells me, "We should have another baby."      I was stunned.  This came out of nowhere!  There was no discussion of babies at all that night.  I asked her to repeat herself three times just to be sure I heard her right.  Alright, whatever, I can brush that off, no big deal, right?      Well then today I got back from picking up a lot of stuff from Shalyce.  Yay!  One of those big items is a baby swing that I put in the garage.  When Baylee saw it she was pretty excited and asked if she could see how it works (turn it on).  I said no, it needed batteries and I wou...

Bullying

Image
I write this post with a heavy heart.  I took the kids to McDonald's tonight so they could play while Dustin went to mutual.  We got there and Baylee immediately made some friends.  I'm so proud of her!  She was having so much fun running around with them.  Tate thought it looked like fun, too.  He tried to follow them into the big play place.  It broke my heart to witness my 18 month old baby get bullied already.  Fortunately, it was mostly verbal so I don't think Tate was too affected.  Hopefully.      So at our McDonald's there is an encased spiral staircase of sorts, as pictured above (behind the dancing cutie).  That's where a lot of the kids climb to the top of the play place where all the fun things like slides and robots are located.  And that is where Tate climbed into to follow his big sis.  Also where I witnessed bullying situation number one.  I had a hard time letting Ta...

The Kids' Personalities

Image
I always end up waiting so long in between posts so I dread doing a new one because there just seems like so much to catch up on.  I've been wanting to capture the kids and their personalities a little bit, seeing how this is sort of my journal and all, and I don't want to ever forget anything! Let's start with little miss Baylee Rayne:      She's as spunky as ever!  Always trying hard to be the big sister and be "in charge".  She wants to be able to control everything and everyone.  As hard as she tries to control Tate she is also extremely sweet, I think she really does have good intentions, it just doesn't always seem that way with some of her actions.  She loves to help and loves to run and laugh.        Lately her favorite thing to do is play "restaurant" in her room.  She loves being the waiter.  And ever since getting Ratatouille  for Christmas, she enjoys having Tate be her "l...
