I thought I would just write a little bit about Baylee and how she's progressing.  And of course how much we love her, more and more every day.  She can count on her own to 15.  She's been able to do this for awhile, I'm not sure how long.  I sure am kicking myself though for not being a better blogger and keeping up on these things.  I think all the things I'm about to list, I don't know how long she's been able to do it.  The counting to 15 is the most recent though I think.  We worked up from 10 and she goes up to 30 with help.  She knows her ABC's.  She knows her body parts.  She knows all the basic shapes.  No isosceles tetrahedrons yet.  She also knows all her basic colors.  She can say prayers all by herself now, though it's rare.  She's done it all on her own I think a total of 3 times now.  She's getting sillier and sillier every day.  I love seeing her crazy personality dev...

"Rawr!"

Baylee enjoys scaring people now.  Dustin taught her, of course.  She hides behind doors and will "rawr" mom or dad when they come in.  My favorite is when I'm in the bathroom getting ready or something and she goes into the bathroom bathroom to have a door to close and hide behind.  When she's in there with the door closed I can hear her saying to teddy or her cart or her ball or even an imaginary friend, I don't know.  She says, "a rawr, mom.  Ep."  Then she comes out "rawr!"  Then she tells me that she is going to "rawr" me again.  And she'll go through that whole routine for about 5 solid minutes.

2nd Birthday

Today is Baylee's birthday.  I think she enjoyed it at least a little.  It was hard to try to get everything ready in time because of our 1-4 church time.  We got home from church and I started on the cake but got so hungry I had to eat.  So we ended up doing a really casual dinner even though I had wanted to do a nice dinner for her birthday.  As nice as you can get for nuggets and fries.  :)  Her favorite.  Jen, Dustin and I had sandwiches before I started on Baylee's dinner.  She was being SO silly too.  Laughing at all of us just sitting at the kitchen table with everyone.  She would throw her head back and give a nice gut laugh.  I finally got her dinner for her and set it on the table in front of her.  Not long after that Mom, Kevin and Sums showed up.  When they got here Baylee went into shy mode!  She laid on Dustin the whole time, all the sudden very uninterested in her food....

We just had our first "poop in the tub" experience.  I guess I was naive to think I could get through life without ever having to go through this.  The end.

Baylee's Prayers

Baylee said prayers on her own just today.  And I do mean on her own!  We got through the intro with her reapeating everything I said perfectly.  She even said IN heaven instead of just heaven.  Then we got to thankful for our family, and she I think attempted saying family and took over from there.      "Socks!"  Yes, thankful for our socks.  "For dad!"  And dad.  "An mom!"  Yes, and mom.  "Baylee."  Yes, and Baylee.  :)  "Teddy!"  Yup, teddy.  "An other one!"  And the other one.  "Nammies!"  Yes, we're thankful for our jammies.  "Noodles."  And thankful for our noodles.  Then we closed the prayer.  It was very cute.  (All the exclamation points because she pretty much yelled the whole prayer.)      Then I just spent about 5 minutes of solid prayer saying with her.  Her prayers go as follows:  ...

16 Weeks!

We just got back from our 16 week appointment and everything is looking good!  I was pretty nervous about this appointment, mainly because of the decision I had to make on whether or not we would start me on a weekly shot of progesterone.  I decided not to do it and the doctor seemed quite fine with it really.  He said it's still a pretty new thing and chances are if we don't do anything it's not likely we'll have another Baylee baby.  But I will have to go on bed rest at 28 weeks.  I'm not sure how that will be handled.  I definitely think I prefer being overly lazy to a huge oil based shot in the toosh that supposedly hurts like heck each week!  Needless to say, I'm very glad the doc wasn't pushing us to do the shots.      We also scheduled our 20 week ultrasound!  We find out the sex of the baby in one month!!!  And I'm already freaking out about finding a babysitter.  Seems like babysitte...

Mom is SOO funny

This is my new everyday life it seems.  She thinks everything I want to do for her benefit is the funniest thing in the entire world!  It all started just last Sunday as I was getting ready for church (and running late as always) and she was playing in our closet, door shut.  I asked Baylee want to get dressed for church?  She started laughing so hard and so fake and then near the end of this laughter says "de-dressed".  Like it's ridiculous that I could ever want to dress her.  Then closes that off with a little more trailing laughter.  In the video you can hear her at the end do the "dressed" one too.  She is so crazy!
