Wednesdays Suck!
It's no secret that I have been struggling with accepting Dustin's new calling in the deacons' quorum. I hate myself for it too by the way. I've been praying a lot to be a better support to my husband. What make me most upset about me feeling this way is that the Lord called Dustin to this position so therefore me being mad about it is essentially me being mad and unaccepting of the Lord. I don't want to be like that. Anyway the reason I hate Wednesdays is because I don't get to see my husband much. It's his longest day of school, he's out the door before I'm out of bed and then home just long enough to eat dinner and change to go to mutual. Boo right? Luckily for me, I married a great man and when he goes way past at school (like today) he takes Baylee with him to the church (and camping a few weeks ago). That's helpful for my sanity.
And a few weeks ago I decided to go visit my mom and hang out there for that Wednesday, so I literally hadn't seen Dustin all day. My anger and irritation tends to build up when people go longer than expected, he had been at the church for a long time. Anyway, that build up for some reason started happening on my drive home. I was exhausted from the day with the kids. It was past bedtime for Baylee and past feeding time for Tate when I got home so that also added to my stress. Not fun driving the last 20 minutes with a hungry, crying baby. When I walked into the kitchen though, I found a beautiful flower with a beautiful note from my thoughtful husband! It broke me, I started crying. I couldn't help it. I thought it was the sweetest thing ever. Shortly after I discovered rose petals everywhere! I definitely don't deserve my husband!

Chad worked with the YM when we were in TX and I felt the same way! He'd leave for work so early and come home long enough to shovel food and then leave again. Don't feel bad for being upset about it; a day at a time! The Lord knows you love Him :)
